Merit Badge Registration

  • Merit Badge Registration will open on May 21, 2012. The badge times and requirements can be found in the Program Guide. Reistration will be through the double knot program, the program that sent you your reciept. You will need your double knot user name and password.
  • The following videos will walk you through how the registration process works using double knot. The videos reference our Spring Break Camp program, but the procedures are the same.
  • VIDEO 1: Registering for camp - you only need to watch this video if you haven't registered for camp
  • VIDEO 2: Entering Scout & Leader Names - this is currently available & will save time when registering for classes
  • VIDEO 3: Registering for Merit Badges & Programs - this will be available on May 21, 2012 but the video will teach you how to do it now!
  • VIDEO 4: Checking for scheduling conflicts & changing classes
  • VIDEO 5: Getting your completed and partical badge information - After you have completed camp

14 Foot Tall Iceberg Free Swim Water Climbing Tower and Slide!

We are enhancing the T. Brady Saunders Geocaching options and adding the Geocaching Merit Badge as an official offering summer 2012!

Dutch Oven Cookoff Program designed to enhance troop program at camp while allowing units to compete against all troops at camp to see who really can make the best dutch oven cobbler! Supplies and dutch oven will be distributed by the camp!

Trail's End Popcorn 3D Archery Shooting Extravaganza!

Have your scoutmaster and senior patrol leader compete against other troop leadership to see who is the best archer at camp, while learning more about what theTrail's End Popcorn program does to help Scouing and helping Scouts go to summer camp! Go through our brand new 3D archery course shooting deer,turkey, bear and even a watermelon. If your scoutmaster and senior patrol leader are a good shot, you might just be having watermelon with dinner!

10 Miles of Mountain Biking!

Camp T. Brady Saunders is partnering with Richmond MORE, Richmond ASR and the IMBA to bring a comprehensive Mountain Bike program to camp T. Brady Saunders! This isn't just a merit badge. This program is designed for older scouts who are looking for some real adventure and who want to learn all aspects about the sport of Mountain Biking. Through this program Scouts will learn about Mountain Bike Construction, Riding Tecniques, Environmental Ethics, Safety Procedures, Trail Maintanance, Bike Maintanance, Community Involvment and develop the beginnings of a life long love of Mountain Biking. For those keeping track of badges, the Cycling Merit Badge will also be earned while participating in this program.

Climbing Merit Badge - for the 2012 session of camp we will be reintroducing the Climbing Merit Badge. It will be utilizing our new climbing wall built on one of our COPE towers. We will also be utilizing our new traverse wall.

Learn about how to storyboard a movie and create your own camp video while taking the newly offered Cinematography Merit Badge.

Practice your rock throwing skills in a safe way utilizing our brand new Rock Throwing Range. Se who really is the best at hitting that can with a rock!

We are also adding Citizenship in the Nation, Citizenship in the World, Art, Reptile & Amphibian Study and Kayaking Merit Badges!!!!
